So, if there’s one thing I’ve learned from Patreon’s mess, it’s that I really ought to have a site independent of my funding platform. Here it is! I’ll be importing recipes and such over, though I’ll leave a lot of the old pictures behind. I’ll just have to make more.
It’s going to take a while to work out all the kinks in getting this set up. I’ll set up my tip jar as soon as I can track down the code for it. Once all the recipes and such are transferred and I have this at least reasonably done, I’ll pack up my Patreon for good.
Also! As I work on this blog, I plan to use it to share ‘recipes’ of all sorts- not just cooking, but little craft projects. I want to share these things with you, to make it possible for you to learn to make them, too.
We’re all familiar with the definition of hearth as the place where you cook in a home, but in geographical terms, it’s also the source area from which an idea, crop, artifact, or good is diffused to other areas. Let’s diffuse some good ideas, or at least delicious ones. 🙂
